Quality Marine Life 14 day Guarantee
With the finest aquarium staff at both our shipping and receiving locations, Quality does everything
possible to ensure the livestock we offer is the highest of quality, eating well, looking good, and
packaged to arrive at your door in the best condition. Our commitment is backed up with a 14 day
replacement guarantee that states that Quality will replace all guaranteed dead items as long as
pictures are provided of the dead specimens to prove they were not killed by other specimens and a
water sample is sent in the appropriate time frame to prove water quality did not cause the deaths.
Please note: Our 14 day guarantee only applies to the original shipment , there is never a guarantee on
any replacement items.
What is not guaranteed?
Quality Marine Life's 14 day replacement guarantee is on all livestock items which have in their Relative
Care Ease Section ,of their description, either a Green Background or a Yellow Background. A Red
background in our Relative Care Ease section indicates these items are ordered at your own risk, they
are the more difficult items to keep alive, and are Not Guaranteed at all.
Terms and Conditions
Please read the following Terms and Conditions which must be complied with in order to qualify for our
14 day guarantee.
1. You must of followed the step-by-step Acclimation Procedure that you will arrive with your order.
In our experience, the majority of losses occur because of rushed or improper acclimation. Specimens
must be acclimated into an established aquarium, even if they appear dead. As foolish as this may
sound, specimens that look dead often are not, they suffer from depressed PH of the water, and will
frequently recover within minutes when acclimated.
2.Someone must accept the package at the 1st delivery attempt or the guarantee is void. Packages
left outside are not guaranteed. Since we let our customers know in advance your livestock is shipping,
it is the customers responsibility to look out for the package, and not to let the delivery service leave the
package outside. (Computerized tracking of all shipments is used to verify delivery.)This includes the
time of arrival and all delivery receipt information.
3. Pretest water conditions prior to delivery. Water conditions must be as follows: Ammonia - 0.0
ppm, Nitrites - 0.0 ppm , Nitrates 0.0 - 25 ppm, pH - 8.1 - 8.4, specific gravity - 1.021 - 1.025.
If You Suffer a loss on a guaranteed livestock item
1. Digital Picture must be sent.
Within 24 hours of the death, email customerservice@qualitymarinelife.com with clear digital pictures of
the dead items or send the dead items back with invoice number, full name and address. Please put in
your subject, your invoice number followed by 14 day DOA - Example: Invoice 123456 - 30 Day DOA.***.
You must follow up the email with a water sample.
2. A Water sample in a tightly sealed container must be sent.
A water sample must be received within 7 days or the guarantee is voided. This is necessary because
the water sample needs to be close to the time of death , otherwise it would show little data of what
happened when the specimen died. No exceptions will be made.
3. Your items will be replaced at no charge
Once items are delivered credit will NEVER be issued for any livestock ordered, so please do not ask.
Quality Marine Life will keep your DOA on file for a period of 120 days and will replace the items at no
charge on your next order.
Returns
Please make your selections carefully. Because of the complex packaging procedures for all aquatic life
and our primary concern for the health and well-being of all specimens we offer, we cannot accept any
returns of any aquatic life for any reason.
